WWA Worlds. Turkey 2010

For the frist time at the wwa worlds 2010 they open a wakeskate girl category, i knew this in august thanks Nelly form boardforce.net She was talking to all the wakeskater girls and asking if we would like to compete!

So i decided to go for my first competition, at a cable. The last time was at the europeans behind the boat in 2007!

The world wwa was in Hip-Notics, a great cabe in turkey, we h ad nice warm and sunny weather. Our category was bigger than some others ones ;) and that was pretty cool, 6 girls all from different countries and also the best wakeboarder Maxime Sapulette was competing in the wakeskate thats awesome she rocks also there!

We had a qualification run on thuersday for entry in to the finals, but in the end they decided that all the girls can ride in the finals, so it was more a training run... That was a little bit scetchy for me coz i fell twice, i'm not use to going straight for a run ;)!

Our finals was on tuersday, beacuse of the windy weather they changed our time and put us later at the sunset session. There we had to show what us girls can do on the wakeskate, yep yep yep!

The level was good, all the girls hit the obsticles and showed womans wakeskating has come a long way!!! Michaela rocking in style an popping high, only just crashing out on her kickflip. Zuzanna going for a nice and clean shov on the funbox!!!

I had my run, perhaps not my best but happy to finish just with one crash, landing my halfcab on the kicker! So with that i had a podium finish in second place ;)

Thanks a lot for the great, amazing, wonderful black shifty, that give me nice riding!!!

The best thing about this competition is that we had a lot of fun between all us girls with the same passion. We will keep in touch for some riding together next summer, I wanna thank all the girls: Nelly, Maxime, Katarina, Zuzanna and Michaela!!!
