3rd Place for Dominik Preisner

On June 12th 2010 39 Wakeskaters had volunteered to complete the German Wakeskate Championships 2010 at Inselsee Allgäu. With two reigning European champions and Vice European champion the viewers on Inselsee Allgäu was shown wakeskating at a high level.

In the qualifying rounds Tarik Ghoniem, Dominik Preisner and Frederik Küpper in the Junior Men moved directly into the final.

In the juniors, there was a similarly high level as in the Open Men class. In the first heat Tarik Ghoniem could resist against Dominik Preisner and Fredrik Küpper, and claim with a spotless performance of its competitors. But Frederik Küpper could in his second run, the best of his life, land the best trick of the weekend, a spotless Gazelle. He slides from bronze to gold. Tarik and Dominik risked in the second run everything, and unfortunately crashed.
